Intaglio print (copper), 9x12 inches. Renaissance Black ink on buff paper.

The felts were slightly wrinkled, producing the wrinkly look off to the right. I will submit an improved version later; however, of my current 'good' prints most of them are on paper which is too large to properly fit on my scanner.

I'm still playing around with the printing process, and tweaking the plate as I go along. I've tried several chine collé settings; blue-black ink on white paper set into a buff border seems to be a good look for this one. I have also tried a green-black double-registration print.

I've been told during my in-class critique that my work reminds people of Tim Burton... interesting, I guess. I borrowed a copy of _The Nightmare Before Christmas_ from the library to look at.
